Power & Light: A True Story of Faith in Christ
On September 22, 1989 Joshua Dennis became lost in an abandoned mine located in the Oquirrh Mountains of Utah called the Hidden Treasure. He was separated inside the mine and became lost without a flashlight, food, or water. A massive search began. Hours turned into days and there seemed to be no explanation for his disappearance. Time was running out and little hope remained for Josh’s survival. But there were a few who wouldn’t give up hope. Communities, families and individuals were united in prayer, and strengthened by the efforts to rescue one small boy.
Now, after 35 years Josh has revisited this experience by sharing his personal account and lessons learned in his book Power & Light.
After reflecting on this miracle for over three decades, Josh shares his thoughts on how faith in Jesus Christ saved his life.
The story has been made into a feature film titled Faith of Angels directed by Garrett Batty.
